Chinese Management Scholars Community (CMSC):

The Reunion

Venue: Sheraton Boston Hotel in Commonwealth

CMSC (Chinese Management Scholars’ Community) was founded by Professor Ming-Jer Chen in 2006 as a small “workshop” for Chinese scholars in strategic management. The group has grown to become an informal, open-platform community that offers career-related services to more than 500 Chinese (or Chinese-speaking) management scholars. 

 

The Reunion is a major event organized by CMSC during each Academy of Management Meeting.

Weiguo Zhong is an Associate Professor of Strategy at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He obtained his Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong, China. His research focuses on innovation strategy, firms’ non-market strategies, and internationalization of multinational firms from emerging markets. His work has appeared at Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Management.

Lingling Pan is an assistant professor of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the Organization and Entrepreneurship group at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in 2018. Her current research focuses on the strategic use of language and communication by organizations and their leaders. Her work has appeared on Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of Business Venturing.
